Silver Award for Markfield Institute of Higher Education

The Markfield Institute of Higher Education has achieved a Silver Award as part of a national scheme introduced by the government to recognise excellence in teaching and learning.
The Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), introduced by the UK government and overseen by the Office for Students, measure excellence in three areas: teaching quality, learning environment, and the educational and professional outcomes achieved by students. Higher Education providers are assessed against the set criteria and are then awarded gold, silver, bronze or a provisional award.
The TEF Panel concluded that Markfield Institute of Higher Education delivers high-quality teaching, learning, and outcomes for its students. It consistently exceeds rigorous national quality requirements for UK higher education.
